Responsibilities
• Architect, deploy, and manage ultra-low-latency trading networks across colocation sites, exchanges, and offices.
• Manage exchange-colocation setups including rack builds, cross-connects, and market-data/order-entry connectivity.
• Engineer and maintain resilient, optimized multicast networks; fine-tune routing protocols for deterministic low-latency paths.
• Implement and maintain PTP clock-synchronization infrastructure.
• Oversee installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of all network infrastructure.
• Maintain complete documentation and inventory for network hardware, software, and telecom circuits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly with clear reporting and RCA.
• Ensure compliance with IT-Security and Global IT governance requirements.
• Guarantee stable network operations for APAC electronic markets within regulatory constraints.
• Use network-monitoring and diagnostic tools effectively.
• Provide morning-shift, weekend, and holiday support as required.
• Travel within APAC for data-center and colocation projects.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with financial-datacenter and exchange-colocation environments.
• Expert knowledge of multicast and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with low-latency, high-performance switching hardware.
• Linux/RHEL system administration experience (preferably in trading environments).
• Knowledge of x86 server hardware, networking peripherals, and datacenter setups.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting, system-recovery, and RCA capabilities; able to coordinate with vendors/remote teams.
• Ability to give clear, balanced technical guidance to application and business teams.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA).
